Neda Agha Soltani: Iranian Saint and Martyr

"Authorities in Iran are fighting a frantic battle to minimise the impact of the death of Neda Agha Soltani, who was killed on Saturday after being shot in the heart, allegedly by a Basiji militia man.


Neda's death was caught on camera and posted on YouTube and she is quickly becoming a symbol of martyrdom for protestors opposing the regime and the controversial re-election of President Ahmadinejad."

They say the bullet went into her chest, into her heart and exploded. I say the explosion spread her cause and love for freedom all over the world. She died from the sins of tyranny.
