This is absolutely horrifying.

Ghoooooost CCTV:
"A spooky mystery is the talk of a Cumbrian town after a pub and the business next door captured ghostly images on their security cameras. In a bizarre 35-second sequence, recorded by a CCTV camera in the dead of night at The Wolfe pub in Little Dockray, a ball of light is seen descending through the ceiling, its outline pulsating as it moves around."

Haunted Abbey
With Ghooooooost Monks!
"To local people, the Ghosts of Beaulieu are just another part of life in the village. One vicar, the Reverend Robert Frazer Powles, was on such good terms with the Ghosts that he knew several by names; at Christmas he would hold services for tem in the village church. A parishioner at one Sunday service remarked on how small the congregation had been that day. Replied the vicar: “It’s bigger than you can see.""

Forced Hong Kong Exorcism
This is assault.
"We're strolling through a shopping mall, minding our own business, when we're suddenly pounced on by a Taoist priest telling us that we're possessed by an evil ghost who is hell-bent on killing us within three days. Temple workers proceed to grab hold of us and an exorcism is performed despite our protests. After an hour of struggle, the evil ghost is purged and we're asked to cough up HK$36,000 for the Taoist priest's good deed."

Ghooooost Marriages:
"In China, death doesn’t necessarily stop one from getting married. In the Chinese tradition of ghost marriage, one or both of the parties are dead.
There are many practical reasons to marry a dead spouse. For example, when an unmarried woman has no children to take care of her in old age, she can be "married" into another family. If a son died before he has descendants, his parents can arrange a ghost marriage to provide a "wife" who remains chaste, as a pretext to adopt a grandson to continue the family line. Another reason is to give the deceased a "spouse and companion" in the afterlife."
Spooky and cool. I will fight for the rights of ghost marriages!

Ghooooost Eye!
"A Coast to Coast listener named Alan sent in this amazing photo of a creepy giant spectral eye staring down at he and his wife in their bedroom. Alan says the eye turned out to be "a bedside light reflecting off a stack of CDs." Too bad."
Cool. Keep the cd's there.

Ghooooost Town:
For some reason looking at these picures of this ghost town made me sad.
It would be really cool to live in a ghost town as the resident ghost.
"The ghost town of Bodie, however, is another story altogether. A mining boomtown, it was the third most populous city in the state of California in 1880. By the 1940s sickness, wars, bad weather and exhausted mines had led to the town’s desertion, and its isolated, inhospitable location made certain that it stayed that way..."

Noise Haunted House!
"A couple who say a mysterious vibration and noise drove them from their home are appealing for the source to be identified. Brian and Jane Williams, from Treaddur Bay, Anglesey, say they are plagued by ill health and have been forced to move to live in a caravan. But despite extensive investigations by Welsh Water and Anglesey council, no cause of the noise could be traced."

State Supreme Court Building Ghooooost!
"The deputy police chief of the Indian state of Karnataka has been ghost-hunting in the state's supreme court building after all his constables were scared away.
Officers have for two weeks reused to work night shifts in the Karnataka High Court, saying they were afraid of ghosts. Deputy Commissioner of Police Kumara Swami entered the court at about midnight on Wednesday night and spent two hours in the old building and the surrounding park."
Sounds like a job involving a lot of Scooby Snacks!

Sued for Fake Ghooooooost Rumors...
"The book Weird Ohio and accompanying website claimed that the oldest grist mill in Ohio was haunted. But so many ghost hunters started visiting the mill that its owners felt compelled to spend thousands of dollars on security measures. Then they decided to sue the website for spreading false rumors. The judge recently delivered his verdict. The website isn't responsible for the owners' emotional distress, nor is it responsible for the people trespassing on the property, but it does owe the owners $125,000 for their security expenses. If the Weird Ohio people had bothered to show up for the court case, the verdict might have been different."
$125,000?! Somehow I think Scooby Doo was involved with this. Old man Withers was probably to blame and would have gotten away with it too...
