Simon Drake's House of Magic

I want to go here.
"a fantastic night out of magic cabaret in a house chock full of funny, spooky tchotchkes and whatnot. There's slightly rude haunted cellar tours with a vampy vampiress, cold readings, magic pinball, truly outstanding close-up card/coin magic during dinner, and a fantastic stage magic show..."

Waterfall of Blood

Gross.
"The water coming out is red due to iron, and is incredibly salty with almost no oxygen in it. The microbes — 17 different kinds have been found there — must use sulfur as a catalyst instead of oxygen, which has never been seen before."

China's Fastest "Face Changer"

Neat.
"45-year-old He Hongqing makes all the brightly coloured masks, which he switches at mind-boggling speed at popular performances, himself and usually wears 10 layers at one show."

The Creepiest Places You Can Spend the Night

AKA: A list of places to vacation at...
I want to go to every single one of these places.
"The world is full of nightmarish places, and many are open to the public. If you are a real thrill seeker, some will let you stay the night -if you dare! For example, you could stay at Margam Castle in Wales."

Stonehenge: virtual 3D animation

Fly over a virtual Stonehenge. Dwarf crushings to follow.
"During production of the animation, we turned the LIDAR data into a solid 3D model of whole landscape surrounding Stonehenge. Aerial tours of the most famous sites and monument groups were animated in HD (720i) resolution. What is exciting is that much of the upstanding archaeology, from well-preserved barrows to the subtle earthworks of prehistoric field systems, are clearly visible."

Chinese Little People Village

"A community of dwarves has set up its own village to escape discrimination from normal sized people."
"...the group has turned itself into a tourist attraction by building mushroom houses and living and dressing like fairy tale characters."

I hope this is a good thing, but somehow I feel it would be better if they could live more normal lives...

Vulcano Buono

I need to go here:
"The Vulcano Buono (good volcano) is a commercial center designed by Renzo Piano. The interior space is bigger than it looks due to the sloping grass roof, which insulates the building. Inside you’ll find a forest and an amphitheater, plus shops, a hotel, a supermarket, and a movie theater."

Storm-sewer dwellers of Las Vegas

"Estimated the population of the underground community could be as many as 700."
"There are around 350 miles of flood channels running under Las Vegas. Most inhabitants are in the area under the city's strip. "
"They earn their money off the wildly excessive city above by begging and "dumpster diving" - raiding bins and skips."

I get the feeling I would have had more fun down there then up top in the over priced hotel paying 5 dollars for a can of soda...

Lena’s Stone Forest in Russia

"Many spend a lot just to get there and to take a look. This place is where…Siberian woods stand untouched and the only way to get there is to take a four day journey from Moscow city."

That's it, I gotta go to Russia...

Warwick Castle officials are to tone down a new dungeon attraction after it made 19 visitors ill:

I gotta go here!:
(Sounds like a Lucid Dementia show!)
"In the first month since the dungeon opened, 15 people have fainted and another four have vomited, apparently due to fear.
Visitors to the medieval dungeon are greeted by fake blood and life-size models of victims on the rack. Guides demonstrate how prisoners used to have their tongues ripped out."

For sale on Loch Ness: Aleister Crowley's centre of dark sorcery

Someone buy me this:
"A plot of land once owned by satanist and the self-proclaimed "most wicked man in the world" has been put up for sale, attracting interest from rock stars, developers and disciples of the dark arts.

Boleskine Bay, on Loch Ness at Foyers, was part of an estate renowned at the start of the 20th century as "a centre of black magic, evil and sorcery" under the ownership and influence of satanist Aleister Crowley.

The "Beast of Boleskine", who died in 1947, owned Boleskine Estate between 1899 and 1913, during which time he tried to smother the Highlands in black magic by coaxing out the forces of evil. The estate, once the home of millionaire rock star Jimmy Page, has been linked to a number of incidents over the years, including at least two violent deaths."

Blood for the whole family

"People of Russian North know that eating food raw, as it is, or better to say as it was in nature, can be very beneficial to your health.

The only problem that the only food during long polar nights available in raw state in these lands is meat and blood - the flesh of the freshly killed deers they breed. So, they eat it as it is - raw and uncooked. People say, that this is the only source of vitamins, especially vitamin C for them, and due to this habit they maintain to survive in severe Northern climates for hundreds of years.

Children participate in such bloody lunches since the early age and perceive the taste of raw flesh and blood in no other words as “Tasty! Delicious! Awesome!” or even “The best thing to eat in whole life”."
I want to go there.
