Tattoo Collection

I don't know why something like this isn't more common now a days.
"In FOTO8, an amazing photo gallery and essay by Katarzyna Mirczak about the tattoo collection at the Department of Forensic Medicine at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland: 60 tattooed chunks of human flesh preserved in formaldehyde, all collected from prisoners at a nearby state penitentiary and from dead people on whom autopsies were performed."

Misspelled Tattooes:

Whoops...
I think for a lot of people, it's not that they are getting a well thought out expressive and artistic tattoo, it's just that they are getting a tattoo. If I was king, tattoo removal would be illegal.

Tooth Tattoos

"You can have custom Artwork Hand Painted tooth tattoos on your teeth (crowns). There are many options for Gold Crowns as well. We at Heward Dental Lab have been in the Crown and Bridge business for over 30 years. We have found that there is a lack of true artists in our industry. Our technicians were trained first to be artist's and then taught how to construct teeth. Our lab has become known all over the world for its quality crown and bridge work as well as our tooth artwork."
These can be easily removed. Anyone want a Luci tooth tattoo?

LED Tattoos

"New LED tattoos from the University of Pennsylvania could make the Illustrated Man real (minus the creepy stories, of course). Researchers there are developing silicon-and-silk implantable devices which sit under the skin like a tattoo. Already implanted into mice, these tattoos could carry LEDs, turning your skin into a screen."
You just know companies will pay big money to show commercials on peoples foreheads...
Cool!

Father to use son's ashes in tattoo

What a novel idea! This one's a little sad, but how cool would it be to have your loved ones tattoo'd into you?
"A father from Herefordshire is to have a portrait of his dead son tattooed on his chest using the child's ashes. Mark Richmond, 39, and his wife Lisa, 31, said they wanted to do something as a lasting tribute to their son Ayden."

Medical Instrument Tattoos:

1 guy has all this tattoo'd: A tethoscope, reflex hammer, otoscope, sphygmomanometer, forceps, a bone saw, oxygen mask, latex gloves, surgical string, skin grafting razor, trephine skull drill, a medical warning label, and a syringe.
Also:
"I got my diabetic tattoo before I went on holidays to Mexico to traipse around on donkeys. It says “I am an insulin dependent diabetic. If I seem drunk give me sugar.”"

Sexy Tattoo'd Librarians from Texas:

"A fundraising activity for the TLA LIBRARY DISASTER RELIEF FUND, this calendar showcases the charms and often concealed art of 21 women of the Texas library community. As members of the Texas Library Association, these women volunteered to reveal their ink and share some of their stories for the well-being of our state's libraries."

Tattoos that look like Crayon Drawrings:

"Tattoo artist Yann Travaille has made a name for himself in the over populated
field of tattoo design with his astonishingly refreshing designs normally done with crayons, not tattoo ink."
Now parents can get the crap their kids drew tattooed on their bodies, instead of cluttering up the refridgerator...

Liar Liar pants on fire: Kimberley Vlaminck

"A teenage girl who claimed 56 stars were tattooed on her on her face as she slept when she asked for three has admitted she was awake the whole time – and lied because her father was "furious"."
I hope the Tattoo artist (Rouslan Toumaniantz) sues the pants off of her. At least he's world famous now...

World Famous Liar: Kimberley Vlaminck

My Opinion.
She claims she asked for 3 stars, and ended up with 56 and didn't realize what she was getting because she fell asleep.
Fact:
1. No one falls asleep while getting face tattoos, unless they are very drugged up somehow.
I hope the artist counter sues and wins.
I happen to think the tattoo looks great. I bet she does too.

I also bet her parents don't.
