Anybody remember all the tasteless dead baby jokes from the 80's? They were funny until it happened to someone you knew. Then it wasn't funny at all.
Looking at the World Infant Mortality rate map below you can see that the United States isn't the greatest place to have a baby. You may also notice that HOLY COW WHY WOULD ANYONE HAVE A BABY IN MIDDLE AFRICA EVER?!!! I'm guessing that's a lot of babies starving to death. Sorry starving babies, we couldn't send you more food, but our SUV's use a lot of gas and gas is expensive...
