What's in a name?: "Lucid Dementia"

When I first chose the bands name "Lucid Dementia", way back in 1996 I did a lot of research, online and in the record stores, and NOBODY had it, and certainly nobody was using it. About a year after we had a website and had an online presence, I began to come across various online medical sources referring to a condition called "Lucid Dementia". For some reason, their database was picking up on our bands name, and adding it as a medical condition, but still used links to our websites and albums.
For the first couple of years I would track down the company, and let them know about the mistake, and for the most part they would remove us. Only a few months later though, our name and links would pop right back up. I gave up on it, and so our bands name with links to our websites continue to be added to various online medical websites. In the last year I've noticed a new trend, in that people are starting to use "Lucid Dementia" to describe their mental condition, or to name their blog, or as a name in a video game. It's become an internet meme that has gone out of control.

Case in Point: Click on the image below, and it will take you to Stanford Universities medical page, where it lists the "medical condition" "Lucid Dementia", along with our VIDEOS!
