Crotch Rockets:

Early this morning, about 4am, deep in my sleep I am awakened by an annoying mechanical sound like a giant mosquito coming down the street towards my house. It grows louder and louder, and wake up more and more to the realization this is a one of those annoying crotch rockets. It get's really loud, pauses at the stop sign near my house then tears away. Shortly afterwards another one comes and DOES THE SAME THING.

I think the motorcycles are cool, and better than cars, but when 2 of them are racing by my window at 4am in the morning this type of bike has made a mortal enemy. I understand why they must be loud, (safety reasons, so drunk-assed SUV drivers won't run over them...) but most of the ones I see are being ridden by this:

You drive one of these? Please know that most people think you are the above.

    Please dont generalize motorcycle riders as a whole. There are more cars/trucks with louder exhausts then our crotch rockets. The people that went by your house were obviously immature as they clearly have no respect, so I believe your rant should be geared towards that. I cannot even count how many times I am woken by a harley, a little civic with a fart can, a crotch rocket. You not only posted your idea in manner where millions may see your ignorance, you look quite idiotic doing so. Thanks much -Al

    read my comment above again. I was not talking about general motorcycle riders. Just "most" of the ones that ride these types of bikes.
