The Atomic Cafe: Randall Goodwin:
Randall was the owner of the austin venue The Atomic Cafe. He enourmously helped out Lucid Dementia back when they were first starting out. The band most likely would not even exist right now if it wasn't for his help and guidance.
November 3rd, 1999 Randall killed himself.
Oh Randall, you really missed out on what you helped create.

The Vampire Kate: Lucid Dementia fan from the UK:
About a year ago, we came across a "Bebo" Lucid Dementia fan page.
We contacted the moderator and it turned out to be a really cool woman from the UK. We sent her some free stuff for her efforts, as well as provided her with updated information, but after a year or so, she decided to move on from the Bebo page, up to Facebook, where she is currently setting up a new Lucid Dementia fan page. In addition to that, she is currently studying art and design and has been practicing photoshopping some of our images.

Nick West, Founder of Austin Fanzine "Sluggo" has passed away...
Remember a couple of Halloweens ago when Lucid Dementia played The Sluggo Ball?
It was a benefit for Nick West, who was the creator of the Austin Punk Fanzine "Sluggo" back in the early 80's. He had advanced prostate cancer and was battling it out using all the means he could find.
Sheldon recieved a phone call from his good long time freind Philip Lenihan last night with the bad news that Nick had passed away. Nick was truly one of the good ones, and he will be missed.

Remember a couple of Halloweens ago when Lucid Dementia played The Sluggo Ball?
It was a benefit for Nick West, who was the creator of the Austin Punk Fanzine "Sluggo" back in the early 80's. He has advanced prostate cancer and is battling it out using all means he can find, flying to germany for experimental medicine there, and is currently trying to get in on a trial drug that is being tested in Houston.
